Dealing with High Pressure Work in an IT Environment

Today's IS/IT world is both a complex and difficult working environment. This course helps you by providing a set of useful techniques that enable you to take control of workplace stresses, so that you can deal effectively with the pressures of your job. This course will help you to recognise what stress is, and when it changes from being stimulating and exciting to being negative and destructive. The course then goes on to examine the physiological and behavioural effects stress has on you personally. The course helps people to understand that stress is not what happens to you but how you cope with what happens to you. This understanding gives you the power to begin to take control of situations.
