Virtual Classrooms – but with LIVE instructors!
Today, travel costs and accommodation costs are major inhibitors, often coming between technicians and the latest in z/OS-related training and education that they need.
To help combat this, RSM is making many of its z/OS courses available in RSM’s Virtual Classrooms, taught in real-time, by real, LIVE instructors.

Almost ALL of RSM’s z/OS, DB2 and networking courses are now available as On Demand courses.
Of course, there are still many public presentations scheduled at RSM’s training centre in High Wycombe, and one-company presentations are also available, either in a Virtual Classroom or run at your own location. The choice is yours!
Not just UK time!
Whilst the publicly scheduled and available Virtual Classroom courses will be running in UK time, one-company courses can be set up to run at times convenient to you, whether you are in Texas or in Bangalore!
So, which courses - and when??
All of RSM's z/OS, WebSphere MQ, DB2 and networking courses will be the first ones available.
And as for when, well - when do you want them? RSM's Dynamic Scheduling Option enables YOU to decide! Please call or e-mail the Course Administrator. We will be glad to do what we can to help!
But, does it actually work?
Various technologies have been used to offer education and training via the Internet, but RSM has waited for the right one before trialing it.
The good news it that it’s been worth the wait, because it is now a practical and realistic option for live, instructor-lead courses.
Just consider these comments from recent participants:
'Very comprehensive and valuable class.'
'The web-based training course worked very well for us.'
'This course was far more successful than I originally anticipated. There were local challenges for us due to the weather, and we ended up doing this course from 3 separate locations, 4 including the instructor. Had this been scheduled on-site or in a local classroom it would have more than likely been canceled due to the local weather conditions. The WEB training was a very good experience.'
'The environment was better than what I was expecting. The course was still interesting over the web; must be the instructor! The food was not very interesting; I can get the same food at home... wait a minute! I am home!!'
