Using z/OS Management Facility

z/OS Management Facility (z/OSMF) is a game-changing innovation from IBM which, if not already in place at your installation, soon will be. z/OSMF will dramatically simplify, optimize, and modernize the z/OS Systems Programmers workload when it comes to installing and customising products and subsystems under z/OS.

This course introduces and explains the IBM z/OS Management Facility. The course introduces z/OS Management Facility and its architecture, and describes and explains the components that are necessary to run z/OSMF on z/OS.
Taught as a practical workshop, with numerous practical, hands-on exercises, during this course students will learn how to install and customise z/OSMF, and will also customize several system componentsin order to exploit the z/OSMF functions.

This course is also available for one-company, on-site presentations and for live presentation over the Internet, via the Virtual Classroom Environment service.
